Less than 44 inches long, the Q-210C elliptical trainer by Quantum is one of the most compact machine of its kind. With a 21-inch stride, Q-210C delivers a low impact workout, beneficial for those with sensitive joints. The sturdy, steel frame and protected wheel bearings provide a smooth and comfortable workout. The mid-level brake system provides up to 500 watts of resistance. The Q-210C runs on a mid-level drive system, encouraging the user to utilize balance and tone muscles in the core. Its unique safety features include a shorter step height and handrails, while ergonomically designed foot pedals lessen strain on the foot. The Q-210C comes with basic pre-programmed options including manual, random, hill, and interval and includes an assortment of personalized training programs including 10K race, weight loss, heart rate, fat burn, and a fitness test.
The computerized display shows personal workout data such as resistance, heart rate, target zone, strides per minute, calories, calories per minute, and watts. It also maintains information from previous workouts so users can track their progress. For added convenience, the Q-210C includes a water bottle holder and removable handlebars. The device measures 43.5 by 65 by 31.75 inches with a maximum weight capacity of 320 lbs.
Drawbacks: Though reviewers generally appreciate the Q-210C’s stability and quiet mechanisms, others have reported issues with customer support at Quantum. Though it comes nearly assembled, some users reported difficulties maneuvering the device’s bulky body.
