Scifit SX1000 Elliptical Machine Review

The SX1000 by Scifit comes equipped with top of the line features at an affordable price. Geared at maximizing comfort and functionality, the cord-free SX1000 runs on a generator with battery backup. The multi-level resistance system can power an output of up to 2500 watts and adjusts for both forward and backward motion to employ the use of different muscle groups. Handlebars are positioned with focus on physiology to aid posture and lower the risk of muscle strain. Suitable for novices and seasoned athletes alike, the SX1000 offers an array of programs for workout customization. With no stipulations on minimum RPM, the device is optimal for new users and those who might be recovering from an injury. With its Iso-Strength option, the SX1000 can deliver focused muscle group training for a more advanced workout.

The market price is a little over $3,000. The SX1000 measures 63" High, 60" Long, and 28" Wide and weighs 225 lb, with a maximum capacity of 400 lbs. 

Drawbacks: The SX1000 is the more basic model of the SX7000 does not include the sensory, BioFlex foot petal.
